Applegreen invited Circle to design a new concept that expanded their c-store into a large multi-facility food court offer for motorway service sites. The Circle concept features strong attractive zones that would excite customers, attract them in and encourage easy flow around large open interior spaces. The concept features modular hubs such as an enticing deli zone showcasing fresh, local produce and freshly made food-to-go, a business hub which includes quiet working spaces and business & meeting room facilities - to encourage travelling businessmen and women to use Applegreen as a remote office, and a coffee lounge. For families a dedicated zone provided family-focused eating and play areas. The new retail offer also includes an innovative concierge service that provides regular customers a range of drop-off and collect services in partnership with other local businesses and for first-time visitors, the chance to find out more about what's going on locally.
